Woods Fire

Monday, May 27, 2013 at 12:02 pm volunteers with High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire endangering structures. Firefighters arrived to find one fourth of an acre of woods burning next to a mobile home. Firefighters extinguished the fire using 250 gallons of water from one of their brush trucks. The fire was caused by the home owner burning household garbage on the ground in the back yard.
