Old Castle Mulch facility. High Point Church Rd.

Volunteers of High Point Fire District responded to a fire at the Old Castle mulch facility on High Point Church Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered tall stacks of wood fiber bales ablaze. Engine 11's hose was utilized to combat the fire, while other team members employed hooks to dismantle the burning bales. Due to the height of the stacks, ladders were used to access certain areas of the fire. Despite the extreme temperatures and challenging conditions, the firefighters effectively contained and extinguished the fire without reported injuries.
