Field Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a field fire on Brewer Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fast-moving fire in a hay field. Utilizing hose lines from Engines 11 and 41, along with the remote nozzle on the front of Brush 13, they successfully halted the head of the fire. Crews then worked around the flanks to achieve complete extinguishment.

Once the fire was under control, the work was far from over. Firefighters returned to the station to refill trucks and wash and repack several hundred feet of hose.
