Industrial Fire

Volunteers from Pageland, High Point, and Sandhills Fire Departments responded to an industrial fire at Aalberts Industries, located at 1509 S Van Lingle Mungo Blvd. High Point Engine 11, followed by Pageland Engine 1, and Sandhills Engine 501 arrived on the scene and observed a large industrial building with no visible smoke from the exterior.

Firefighters entered the facility and located a fire in a pit beneath some machinery. Firefighters advanced a hose line and initiated a foam operation to combat the blaze. Additional firefighters pulled supply hose from Engine 1 and connected to a nearby hydrant to establish a water source.

The incident was declared under control at 03:39 AM, and all firefighters had departed the scene by 04:11 AM.
