Outbuilding fires– Mangum school Road

High Point, Pageland, and Sandhill Fire Departments responded to a reported outbuilding fire on Mangum School Road. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that three small outbuildings had been completely destroyed by the fire, and a grass fire was encroaching upon a nearby home.
Pageland Fire extinguished the fire nearing the home, successfully preventing any damage to the property. Firefighters then proceeded to contain and extinguish the grass fire, along with the remnants of the destroyed outbuildings.
After thorough investigation, it was determined that the fire originated from a grass fire that had spread out of control, eventually igniting the nearby buildings.
The collaborative efforts of the responding fire departments ensured the situation was swiftly brought under control, preventing further damage and safeguarding the surrounding area.
