Skid Loader Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a reported equipment fire behind poultry barns on Oro Church Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a Bobcat skid loader engulfed in flames. Engine 51 deployed its front hose line and initiated fire suppression operations. Engine 11 arrived on the scene to provide water supply to Engine 51. The owner reported using the loader to clean a barn before noticing mechanical issues. Following this, the owner parked the loader behind the barn, returning an hour later to find it ablaze.
