Structure Fire

Highway 265 - Jefferson

Sandhill Fire, with automatic aid from High Point Fire and Pageland Fire, responded to a report of a structure fire located at 16155 Highway 265 in Jefferson. Upon arrival, Sandhill firefighters discovered a single-family home with visible flames in the attic.

Firefighters entered the home equipped with a hose line, hooks, and a small ladder. The hooks were utilized to pull down the ceiling material in the hallway. The small ladder was employed to reach the attic, where firefighters used the hose line to extinguish the fire.

The fire was declared under control in less than six minutes.
