Vehicle Crash

Smyrna Church Rd. at Faulkenberry Rd.

High Point volunteers responded to a vehicle crash on Mangum School Rd. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered that a passenger car had collided with an embankment, causing substantial damage to the front end of the vehicle. The driver was moved by Lifeguard EMS to a nearby empty lot next to Pageland Farm Equipment where firefighters had established a landing zone for a Medcenter Air helicopter. The driver was transferred to the awaiting helicopter for transportation to the trauma center in Charlotte NC.
