Tonight's training session at High Point Fire District involved two important evolutions for our volunteers: the controlled roll and the Darlington roll.
Structure Fire
Saturday, May 4th, 11:30 PM
High Point, Pageland, and Sandhills Fire Departments responded to a structure fire on Austin Rd amid heavy rain. Upon arrival, High Point Engine 11 discovered an outbuilding fully engulfed in flames and collapsing.
Brush / Structure
High Point Fire District, along with Pageland and Sandhill Fire Departments, responded to a brush and structure fire on Mangum School Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that a controlled burn of yard debris had escalated, spreading to two outbuildings and the nearby woods.
Motorcycle Crash
High Point Fire, Pageland Rescue, and Lifeguard EMS responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on Philadelphia Church Rd. Responders arrived to find a motorcycle in the ditch with crash debris in the roadway, but no one around the crash.
