Teens Crash Dirt Bikes

High Point Fire, along with Pageland Rescue and Lifeguard EMS, responded to a reported motorcycle crash on Philadelphia Church Rd. Upon arrival, responders found that two teens had been riding their dirt bikes and had collided with each other.

Rescue and EMS personnel began treating the injured teens. High Point Engine 21 established a blocking position and set up traffic cones to ensure a safe working environment for all responders. Engines 11 and 51 set up a landing zone at the Walmart Distribution Center to facilitate the arrival of a MedCenter Air helicopter.

One teen was transported via helicopter while the second teen was taken by ambulance. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
