Intersection of Airport Rd. and Central Place Ln.

High Point Fire District and Lifeguard EMS responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Airport Rd. and Central Place Ln. involving an SUV and a car. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway. Engine 21 was positioned to create a safe working environment for emergency responders.

Firefighters and EMS conducted checks for injuries. All vehicles were secured—ensuring engines were turned off, transmissions were in park, and no fluids were leaking. One patient was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

As tow operators arrived, firefighters employed Engine 21 and traffic cones to close Airport Rd., facilitating a safe area for the recovery of the crashed vehicles. The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived to investigate the incident, ultimately leading to the arrest of the passenger from the car for potential parole violations.
